Mr. Udine resides with his wife and children in Parkland, Florida.
Michael began his professional career at the Miami office of White and Case, one of the largest law firms in the United States with offices throughout the world. In 1991, he became a Partner at the law firm of Udine & Udine in Broward. He has focused his practice on insurance litigation, commercial collections, real estate, finance and banking law. His deep understanding of the legal, business and regulatory aspects of different situations has proved to be an invaluable tool for the representation of his clients throughout his career. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors of Legacy Bank of Florida (www.legacybankfl.com) a five branch community bank, with $300 million dollars in assets, with offices in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Michael serves on the Board, the Loan Committee, the Audit Committee and the Directors Compliance Committee.

In addition to his professional practice, Michael is extremely active in the Community. He is currently the Mayor of Parkland (www.cityofparkland.org) serving since March 2006 and a Parkland City Commissioner since March 2003. During his term, the City has won various nationwide awards for excellence and is considered to be a premier city in Florida. Michael has a thorough knowledge of land use, compliance and real property issues as they affect Broward and Palm Beach Counties. All of which greatly benefit his clients.
Michael is an adjunct professor in the Business/Legal Program at Broward Community College and is a lecturer for the National Business Institute specializing in continuing education classes for business, insurance, and legal professionals. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Broward County Bar Association, and the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida. He is also a former member of the Board of Directors of the Broward League of Cities and is active within the Broward League of Mayors and Florida League of Mayors.
